INFORMATION LETTER

 for Research Study Entitled

"Transition Professionals Needs Assessment”

You are invited to participate in a research study about the concerns of Alabama transition professionals about their students with disabilities, ages 14-21.

This study is being conducted by Dr. Karen Rabren from Auburn University, Department of Special Education, Rehabilitation and Counseling, with the purpose of determining the greatest concerns of  professionals about their transition-age students with disabilities.

The results of this study will be used to develop a statewide training program focused on the concerns of professionals responsible for transition-age students with disabilities. Ultimately, students with disabilities will be the beneficiaries, as these concerns are addressed by the professionals who serve them.

What will be involved if you participate? Your participation is completely voluntary. If you decide to participate, click the “I want to participate” button below to access the online survey. Completing the one-page survey should take 10-15 minutes, depending on the length of your responses. Please answer each of the survey items and then click the “Submit” button at the end of the survey. Your non-identifiable responses will be analyzed and published as part of all of the responses.
