The Department of University Housing and the Office of Residence Life are separate entities but work closely together to serve incoming and current students. University Housing offers accommodations on campus for single undergraduate students. The University also provides housing for graduate students, students with families, and students enrolled in the College of Veterinary Medicine and the Harrison School of Pharmacy through a master lease arrangement with two off campus apartment communities. Undergraduate Housing Application Information

If you are interested in living on campus beginning Spring semester of 2014, please contact our office ( to request a housing application. Housing is available for men and women for Fall 2014-Spring 2015. Before you can apply for housing you must first be admitted and then pay the $200 confirmation deposit to Admissions (this is not a housing deposit). Please click on the How to Apply link for more information and to log into the 2014-2015 application.

Waiting lists for both men and women were initiated at 4:00 PM CST on Thursday, March 6, 2014. When you submit your application along with payment, your name will be added to the waiting list for your gender.

Are freshmen guaranteed housing? No, on-campus housing is guaranteed on a first-come, first-served basis.
