The Hill Community houses men and women in 12 residence halls. Auburn’s social sororities are housed on selected floors in each of the Hill residence halls.
Hill rooms are configured in suites consisting of two double-occupancy rooms connected by a bathroom. A few single rooms (smaller rooms with private or semi-private bath) are available. Private rooms (double rooms to which only one student is assigned) may become available. Rent includes all utilities including basic TV cable and wireless internet service (phone service not included).
The Quad area consist of 10 residence halls housing both men and women. These residence halls are located in the center of campus and are very convenient to classroom buildings
All Quad rooms are configured in suites consisting of two double rooms (two students per room) connected by a bathroom. There are a very limited number of single rooms available. Private rooms (double rooms to which only one student is assigned) may become available. Quad rooms are furnished with an extra long (80”), bunkable twin bed, study desk and chair, chest of drawers, and closet for each resident. Rent includes all utilities including basic T.V. cable and wireless internet service. Washers and dryers are located in a laundry facility centrally located in the Quad Center. Residents receive their mail and packages at the mailroom located in that building as well.
Opening for the Fall semester of 2009, The new Village Community will house men and women in eight residence halls. Auburn’s social sororities will be housed in three of the buildings and a fourth building will house members of the Honors College. The remaining four buildings will be coed housing both freshmen and upperclassmen. Requests for specific buildings cannot be made on the housing application: however, you can request placement in the Village if that is your preference.
The Village units will be configured in “super suites” shared by four students. The suites consist primarily of four single bedrooms, two bathrooms and a common living/dining area. There are a very limited number of three single bedroom, one bathroom (2 lavatories) and two single bedroom, one bathroom units available as well. Rent will include all utilities including basic TV cable and wireless internet service (phone service not included).
