Honors Interdisciplinary Teaching Opportunities

Faculty interested in teaching Interdisciplinary courses intended primarily for Honors students have three options. Each of them provides current Auburn faculty members with an opportunity to work with highly motivated students in discussion-based settings, work closely with faculty from a wide range of disciplines, and broaden their own intellectual perspectives.

These interdisciplinary sequences are:

Human Odyssey

Dedicated to exploring the relationship between the sciences, the social sciences, and the humanities.

Sustainability and the Modern World

Committed to the study of how societal, economic, and environmental systems interact to affect the future of our world.

Technology and Culture

Focused on the ways in which societies have both influenced technological advancements of all kinds and been influenced by them.
