The staff of the Honors College has the responsibility for identifying and developing students to compete for prestigious national and international scholarships (Rhodes, Gates-Cambridge, Marshall, Fulbright, NSF, and others). These scholarships have different requirements ranging from a major emphasis on academic achievement to emphasis on all-around ability. Ideal candidates should have a 3.7 grade point average, a solid undergraduate research experience, and have substantive involvement in extracurricular organizations.
