Registration for Auburn Airport Shuttle
The last day for registration for the AU Airport Shuttle is December 20, 2013.
Auburn University is pleased to offer you free transportation from the
Atlanta Hartsfield Airport to the Auburn campus (90 miles). It is our way to
welcome you and extend a little Southern hospitality. We hope you will be able
to make use of it.
Auburn shuttle service will operate for two (2) days only in January, 2014 (January 5th and 6th). If you arrive on a different day you will need to arrange your own transportation. The AU shuttle will depart Atlanta five times daily between 11:00 AM and 11:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).
· If your port-of-entry (i.e., where you first enter the United States) is
Atlanta, then you should arrive in Atlanta no later than 9:00 PM because it
requires approximately two (2) hours to clear customs and immigration.
· If your port-of-entry is a city in the United States, other than Atlanta, you may arrive as
late as 10:00 PM in Atlanta and still have time to collect your baggage and catch the last
departing shuttle at 11:00 PM.
· If you arrive too late on the evening of January 5th, you will need to stay over night in a hotel in Atlanta and catch the shuttle the following morning or arrange your own transportation to Auburn.
If you are unable to make use of Auburn’s free shuttle, you may want to
use one of the two commercial shuttles (not free).
